Mango, Togo
Kyle is a carpenter and Rhonda is a midwife.
We love the people of northern Togo and want to help them know God's grace and truth as we live among them, learn to know them, and care for them through compassionate healthcare.
We both served in Togo while single, got to know each other there, and returned to the US to get married. Now we are preparing to move back to Togo in 2018.
Togo, West Africa
Togo is a small country with a population of 7.5 million. The country is divided between a Christian and Animist population in the south and a Muslim population in the north.
Our home is in the town of Mango. Its 40,000 residents live mostly in mud brick houses with tin roofs, surrounded by a low compound wall. In every neighborhood is a small mosque where men gather to pray 5 times a day and children gather in the evening to learn the Qur'an. The market square is the center of the town where you can buy produce, get a kilo of fresh meat from the butcher, or catch a taxi to neighboring villages. This is the place we call home, because we love its people.
